Where to Wear

Oglebay Festival of Lights

The most famous lights festival in West Virginia is one of our favorite locations to visit during the winter season. Starting in 1985, Oglebay Festival of Lights has become a family staple for states surrounding West Virginia. Bring your family or have a great winter date night, and enjoy the lights display. The best way to experience the lights is with a warm hot chocolate and Christmas music playing in the background.

Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum

Looking for something spooky? The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum is the perfect place to experience state history. Take one of the many ghost or paranormal tours to get your heart rate up. This location is one of our favorite locations for a good scare in the state.

Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad

We can't think of a more perfect way to view our state's fall foliage. Another great perk of taking a trip on this railroad is the ability to view the nation's favorite bird, a bald eagle. The best part, you're able to enjoy the peaks of our famous mountains all while chugging along one of our favorite railroads.
