    1. Lindy Point, Blackwater Falls State Park

    The trail is about a half of a mile, on level ground in Blackwater Falls State Park. Summer or winter, you'll be surrounded by rock formations and the overlook where you'll get a wonderful view of the canyon.     2. Ravens Rock, Coopers Rock State Forest

    Not far from Morgantown, home of West Virginia University, this 1/4 mile trail is a great hike all year round, and you can even bring your dog with you as long as he/she is on a leash. Make sure you’re prepared with some waterproof attire, the trail can be a little muddy after a rain.
